About the name
"Daylight Chamber"
The name "Daylight Chamber" was acquired when the local
councilors and gentry met at the old winery over 100 years ago to
play card game called "Euchre" and enjoy the Shiraz Wine.
The local councilors made many decisions during their daytime pleasures
and implementation then at the local council chambers at their evening
meeting. Hence the old winery became known as the "Daylight
Chamber". Most of the vines are still bearing today and produce
some startling results.
